TV Girl – Song About Me (feat. Maddie Acid)

Just makes us happy with the sad tales of relationships.

There are necessities and sometimes, the good needs to be reminded of its existence. And so, there’s TV Girl, a rag tag (maybe not so rag tag) bunch of musicians who delight our senses with wit and nonchalance, great enough for us to dance to – no matter the year.

‘Song About Me’ is one of our faves.

Why?

We dance! That’s why.

And when we chug away at a song that makes us move our non-pilates adjusted joints – that’s saying something.

It’s just the nature of things.

There are rhythms – with a certain way it’s formed – coming from a genesis of philosophy, which just ‘does us justice’.

What does that mean?

It means that it’s a combination of nostalgia, current themes, tested musical formulas, and the individual band members’ salt & pepper. The combination that makes that dish, so delectable.

Yep, it’s tasty.

And yep. That’s why we come back to it.

And yep. That’s why we try to remind ourselves – and our friends – of its earnings.

Simple really.

We like. We recommend.

We dig, the gang in TV Girl (like so many others).

Kudos.
