Kings of Our Kin – Don’t Come Around (From new S/T EP)

EP available now.

Consisting of singer Tom Andrews, guitarist Isaac Bender, bassist Jess Roveda, and drummer Gab, the North Bay Canada rock band kinda comes across as the rock band that digs at your right lower rib – and you keep letting it dig even more. Feels good. Kinky, right?

No. Just good rock, played with the attitude of pureness at heart.

And that’s just part of the battle, isn’t it. For anything worth doing, the honest part helps to fuel the long journey. The passion and talent add to the fire of singing your heart out and taking your fans to another zone.

All of the material is glued in this interesting package, with the vocals of Tom, who seems to be able to belt one out at very high octave, if he wanted to. Which is welcome, because in the new EP, many different styles are on display, and the vocals help to distribute them to our ears (then brains) in the effort to see the big picture.

Oh and they sure are an ambitious lot, for they are aiming to release their first full album sometime in 2019.

We think they can do it. Looking forward to that offering.

Kudos, gang.
