Black Kids ‘In A Song’: Love, pop, guitar, shorts – wrapped in ska. Comfy, no?

First thing ‘In A Song’ reminded us of was ‘The Cure’. We know artists hate it when writers compare them with other bands, but sometimes it’s necessary. It’s definitely a compliment.

We know, we don’t make sense sometimes, and we babble on a bit. But the song is fun, ‘lackadaisically supple’, and did we mention that it was fun?

Anywho, this song is cool. Love the duality in the vocals and lyrics, jammed up against ska-tastic intrumentals, the song’s got it going on.

Ok, let’s view this past mid-summer video from Black Kids, shall we?
