A Winged Victory for the Sullen ‘So That The City Can Begin To Exist’ : This is the time. This is the place. Touch and be touched.

A Winged Victory for the Sullen

Beautiful in its wake, you float up and down, as you gaze up at the still clouds up above the blueness and the wonder.

A Winged Victory for the Sullen is the project of Stars of the Lid founder Adam Wiltzie and L.A. composer Dustin O’Halloran.

Likely switching on the flicker that is deep within your brain, your heart flutters in the magnanimity of a past – of your past. A decadent involvement that stops you at your tracks – parrying your every step, now harsh and heavy. The streets of gold, doesn’t seem that golden, as you strewn what’s left of your soul, unto the reckless and beguiling existence.

However.

This is the time. This is the place. Touch and be touched.

Only way out of it all, is to love – even more.

Look for the upcoming LP, ‘Invisible Cities’ (February 26th 2021). The LP is a collection of their music from the critically acclaimed theatre production directed by London Olympics ceremony video designer Leo Warner.
