Aaron Spencer ‘Sticky Dancefloor’ : Maybe love can take care of the angst? Oh well.

Aaron Spencer

“I wrote this song when I was 18,” said Aaron Spencer. “Like a lot of people at this age, I was trying to figure out who and what I wanted to be. I had recently moved away from the town I grew up in, my friends were blooming and moving on to top Universities. The government had hiked University fees, putting me off carrying the debt for years and possibly decades into adulthood. I was working two part-time jobs with no sign of progression or forward path. Applying for ‘career-potential’ jobs and facing rejection time and time again.”

Common story, in the richest country on earth. Depressing, and annoying set of circumstances, no? But Aaron takes it in stride as he’s never given up on searching for ‘better’. But like most of us, that search starts with defining what ‘better’ means personally.

That’s a hard one, indeed. Let’s wish luck to Aaron’s and for millions in the same sitch.

Maybe love can take care of the angst? Oh well.
