ADAM MELCHOR does every right. The uber-talented singer/songwriter melds genres from pop to folk, and infuses them to a delicious form of lyrical beauty. The expressions amplified by the artist is sequentially and systematically delicate in story, as the rhythms and the sounds overtake you in a joyous journey.
In this latest single ‘I Don’t Wanna See You Cryin’ Anymore’ off of his EP ‘Plan On You’, his expert talisman-like sensibilities shine once again, as the glimmer of hope and possibilities shine down from the heavens of his lyrics, to reveal a part of his thoughts and premonitions, of pasts and longings.
“I wrote this song after letting someone down who I cared about greatly,” stated Adam. “The theme of re-connecting with the people I love and the moments that test that love run throughout this song. I recorded it in my first apartment in LA when I moved from New Jersey…I sort of loved the idea of just having a simple guitar and vocal song and even tried a million different versions, but the one that ended up making the EP was the original one I recorded…”
Adam, having roots in Jersey City, New Jersey is one who we keep a keen eye on, as he’s a fabulous blend of live performance and studio sentiments, blare out into the musical audiences, with equal fervor and decadence.
We think you should keep an eye on Adam’s work as well.
See Adam on his mini-tour starting at Baby’s All Right Brooklyn, on May 6th.
