New visuals for his single title single off of his August EP ‘Whatever Helps You Sleep’ is here. It’s AB at his normal alien-esque stylin’. But his music is very much terrestrial and moves with the hum of a gentle touch on your lonely shoulders in life.
The moving and melancholic single delves into his keen isometric aesthetics, then spits out the creatives of his unique visions right underneath.
Alexander explains “I really wanted this clip to move away from the narrative of the song, and more so focus on the dreamy nature of the song. I like that it doesn’t take itself too seriously, which was a great way to not rest on the heavier material of the record. We had a lot of fun with it. Michael Ridley did a great job in taking my concept and turning it into what it is, and I’m glad I could get my musical friends involved making their cameos.”
The video is directed by Michael Ridley and it features friend of Alexander: Jackson Phelan, Michael Hood and Oscar Galt.
Resistance to the near-by world, was hard for his intelligence. It evoked a silent disgust of choosing between one evil over another. What to do. Well, it’s the way the world is, so let’s get used to it.
At least we can kick off some steam, for all is crappy, no?
