“‘Scratch and Deploy’ is a festive, trumpet filled celebration of self-pity”, according to Alfah Femmes. The band, based out of Poland, makes “retro-slacker vibe pulsating throughout the whole song” with ease and palpitating vibrance.
Alfah Femmes is a six-person band which features leading women (vocals, guitar, cello) and four men (remaining instruments). Their music takes from grunge, new wave and modern singer-songwriter indie rock.
With out-right attitude in trying to take ‘life’ to task, it’s in the band seeming DNA to call out the damned difficulties and put in replacement, a gantry of gallant vibes of admiration and acceptance. The core of the message seems very rootsy, with a world-music ambience that you just can’t ignore.
Dance and smiles, and psyche-inspired universality, sings with irreverence.
Alfah Femmes together are: Zofia Bartoś, Weronika Kulpa, Marcin Gałązka, Przemysław Bartoś, Tomasz Koper and Michał Wandzilak.
