“Apple engineers have reportedly been working on an iPhone that would come with a stylus, which could launch in 2019 or later if it comes to fruition.” – Apple Insider
Apple already has iPad Pro offered with a Stylus style ‘pencil’. Why not an iPhone with a Stylus style ‘pencil’, as well?
The current stylus is called Apple Pencil, and it’s sold at $99 each.
“Apple Pencil expands the power of iPad Pro and opens up new creative possibilities. It’s sensitive to pressure and tilt so you can easily vary line weight, create subtle shading, and produce a wide range of artistic effects — just like with a conventional pencil, but with pixel-perfect precision.” – Apple website.
The rumors swirling these days is about the iPhone getting a stylus. It’s a return to the early 2000’s if this happens, but Apple will definitely put their own spin on WHY people will now need a stylus. For sure, the smart phone apps have gotten more complex and varied, so another more accurate ‘finger’ might help.
The rumors are that we can see an iPhone with a stylus, as soon as sometime in 2019.
