Swedish indie-wonderment, Augustine, brings surprise and happiness through his songs, effortlessly, beautifully, and in that other-worldly way. First thing you notice is his falsetto, surgically slicing the dark clouds aways, revealing the sunshine of new possibilities. The next, you notice his poetic rhythms of words and melodies, forcing with conducive effervescence and enjoyment.

We’d called Augustine “out of the world..out of this universe” fabulous.

That trend continues.

Brings together summery disco influences and a heartbreaking longing to understand himself and the world on groovy new single ‘Coast’, released exclusively as part of Spotify’s Studio Oyster program. Growing up in Gothenburg with the poetry-laden music of Bob Dylan and The National, Augustine started writing lyrics and poems at age 9, even before he got into music. Lyrics have remained an important element in his songs and he has been praised for his skill in delivering thoughtful, honest and melancholic stories straight from his own youth, combined with powerful songwriting and liberating productions.

The artist from Stockholm, with a golden vocals and voice of emotional intentions, reside deep and meaningfully in our listening hearts.
