Classic shoegaze vibes shine with Axling’s single ‘Sagoland’. The charm of Axling’s vocals comes through with friendly stands, as the universe continues to churn and turn. The pop curiosities of love and loss and notions profound, comes gathering with an anthemic thrust.

Solo project run by multi-musician Joakim and who together with other musicians form Axling. From Sweden’s punk / hardcore scene with the band Intohimo, via electro / pop wave as a member of Ember Island since 2013, his musical journey now takes another turn towards new expressions.

Already in 2006 he received the “best unsigned act” award at the Manifest Gala with Intohimo. In 2015, Ember Island’s version of “Where are ü now” was released in the official remix package of the song with Jack ü (Diplo and Skrillex). In 2016, Ember Island was nominated for this year’s newcomer of the Denniz Pop awards.

Axling’s debut EP ‘Framtidstro (Future Faith)’ is out now.
