Beach House To Release Single ‘Dive’. New album ‘7’ Drops In May. Announces World Tour.

Beach House

Following the previous single releases, ‘Lemon Glow’, ‘Black Car’, ‘Drunk In LA’ and ‘Dark Spring’, the duo in Beach House relegates our senses to a heap of jello by releasing ‘Dive’. The boisterous but demure call to arms song, builds that delapadated house crumbling in your heart, back into a potentially redeeming and wholesome self-mansion, up there in the ether.

Beach House is to drop their 7th album named: ‘7’ – a full length LP, on May 11th, 2018.

Alex Scally and Victoria Legrand pushes those buttons and strums those instruments, and every time they burst with new portraits of artistic revelations – we try to listen, and listen hard.

“Throughout the process of recording 7, our goal was rebirth and rejuvenation. We wanted to rethink old methods and shed some
self-imposed limitations. In the past, we often limited our writing to parts that we could perform live.”

In an effort to grow and grow past pre-conceived, and self inflicted limitations, the band threw those thoughts to the way side, and effectively started in a new sonic adventure.

Structure is the start. Inspiration sustains that business.

And we sure are glad for them looking inside, and blossoming in a different path.

Kudos.

Their tour dates are all set, so take a look below.

They’re rep’ed by Sub Pop, Bella Union, and Miseltone.
