Bomethius – As Roses

Bomethius’ As Roses makes emphasis on that protruding patch of green grass. And ‘As Roses’ makes that green grass patch, even greener. A ‘standards’ root of a song, clamoring in a soup of delight. Gently, weeping; blowing in the wind.

It’s that visual – imagine you are in a pastel, Monet-like painting.

There’s a weeping willow tree to your right.

The sun doing it’s best impression of basking, far in the distance.

The wind, only apparent, through the rustling of the willow and the whistling act in your ears.

It’s a warm wind.

You can touch it. You can hear it.

It hugs you, with unlimited love.

Then the slow procession of song, trots into the fray.

It calms the soul.

It relinquishes the stresses.

The piano, taps its glorious ivory towers.

Revealing only what it can, leaving you the rest.

It’s a warm wind.

Bomethius is the stage name of Jonathan Hodges, hailing from Atlanta Georgia.

Kudos, Jonathan. Kudos.
