BROOKFIELD ‘Swim Deep’ : Is the current, the past, and future of a soul in reach for something more.

Brookfield

Not satisfied with the fruits of his labors for friends and clients, Brookfield (Duncan Brookfield) has returned to releasing his own music after 3 years of experimenting and developing. Said Duncan: “It took me a while to get the confidence to release my own music again. I wanted to make sure i don’t have any doubts about who i am in my music and to not leave any stone unturned.”

The emotionally charged and cinematic tracks reflect on his own struggle with depression and “looking at each side of the coin – falling out or just about staying afloat”.

“I have been waiting a long time to release my own music again and I’m so pleased to have two new songs for your eardrums,” added Duncan. “Writing music about your own experiences with depression, self harm and self worth is never easy but I’m proud to have done it and I hope some people can find solace in the music.”

In a sweeping revel of events, Brookfield is the project that resets time and space for the artist with something big to say through his music. A consuming revelation, the sights and sounds of story fore-told, is the current, the past, and future of a soul in reach for something more.

The new double single (out now) starts a new phase of music for the self-proclaimed ‘jack of all, master of none’.

fallout/swim deep are out now!! in case you hadn’t seen (lol) I’ve just released two new tracks – for the first time in nearly 3 years. for the first time in a long time I’m able to say I really am proud of myself for writing, recording, producing and mixing these myself – it’s been a massive challenge but it’s amazing to have the license to write about my experiences with depression and self harm. It’s a really nice feeling to know people have enjoyed it so far and I hope it continues to touch people. Thank you to everyone who has helped me make this happen – in the writing room and behind the scenes. Stay tuned for more over this year and thank you so so much to everyone again xxxx love DB xxx
