Burgess Worsham – Dance Floor Whore

The horns tremendously and ultimately got to us. The beckon call of the production is weird and odd. However, it’s calming and understandable. Burgess Worsham’s Dance Floor Whore is really entertaining. Yep. Very. Simply.

Yes, when reading the lyrics, it’s simply about a day in the life of a model.

But is it only about that?

Who the fu*k cares!

We think, at CHF, this song is fun. It’s a fact.

And we think it’s a tale of all of the tragedy that lays us down – from the day to day.

It’s fab.

The song doesn’t take you far from the gray cubical environment, but the larger sub-message telling the story, the way he wants it told.

The way Burgess wants to.

It’s not worse, for not being there.
It’s worse, for being there and being neglectful.
It’s not better, for being there.
It’s worse, for existing and not exploring.
-CHF-

We’re glad we got to know Burgess’ work a bit more.

Hope to hear more of his output.

Kudos, Burgess. Kudos.

Keep on keepin’ on.
