Swooning pop indie goodness is where ‘So In Love’ lives. And as it melts into your bones, the cherished acumen of blowing warmth, sings exultations to the heart that you posses.
A heart that is seeking. A heart that is hurt. A heart that mends with understanding and acceptance.
“Set in two parts, it explores the initial pain of a break up, then revisits it later on,” Nick explained. “I wanted the passing of time to be a thought throughout so thats one of the reasons it’s in the 6/8 classic rock & roll style and has that metronomic rhythmic feel. It’s based on a few relationships in my life, my own/friends/families stories all smooshed together, I suppose they left lasting impressions in some way and I definitely think about them and draw on them whilst performing.”
When the switch of recognition is turned on, that focus of affection will mean the world to you.
And in ‘So In Love’, that moment of cherishing what is grand, will be magnified by the generosity of human goodness and kindness.
It’s a lesson to behold, before it’s too late.
CHERITON is Nick Harrison.
