Bruno Belissimo premieres his newest nu-Italo Disco influenced diddy, with classic digitized keys and modified bass in the hopes in keeping that past-future 70’s disco dance party thing going. ‘Tempi Moderni’ (Modern Times) helps you steps into that tub of ice cold water, feel the zing of the cold going up the sides and spine – and we should get on this ride.
The steady stream of notes, like the treading of rolling Amtrak train cars, over gentle rolls of the undulating hills – the song dangle at your soul like the dream over summer’s quiet goodbyes – ‘let go, and close your eyes’.
Smile. Don’t worry. It’s fun.
Bruno will join his fellow music makers from Italy at the BPM / We Were Never Being Boring (WWNBB) SXSW showcase on March 14th @ the Velveeta Room (521 E 6th St, Austin Texas).
Should be a sweet time – in ‘Modern Times’!
