UK based singer- songwriter Chloe Foy shapes light within sounds of waves, in heart. The latest offering from her upcoming EP (expected out Spring 2020), is beautifully expansive in its quiet and deliberate privacy.
“‘Callous Copper’is an unabashed love song,” said Chloe. “It’s not common for me to be quite so open in my imagery, so I surprised myself with how I laid myself out quite so openly. It has imagery of love in all its seasons. Taken from simple acoustic guitar beginnings and composed with Joni’s Both Sides Now orchestral version in mind, it’s the softer side of me.”
With flowing ambience to her vocals, and authentic care into the expressions of the words, Chloe’s manifesting style of classic folk gets notice from the instance it is raveled into your ears. She has accumulated over 12 million plays on Spotify, earning from NPR Radio’s Bob Boilen and the BBC’s Steve Lamacq.
In 2029 she was named a BBC Introducing ‘One To Watch’ by Radio 3’s Late Junction.
The trend continues.
See Chloe next @ Pound Arts, Corsham UK, on February 1st.
