Compadre ‘Green Screen Sex Scene’ : brings classic rock sexiness and unadulterated ambience to the fore.

With a guitar riff that will blow your mind, the classic rock vibin’ anthem ‘Green Screen Sex Scene’ brings classic rock sexiness and unadulterated ambience to the fore.

“Like with many songs, the lyrics were inspired by a girl,” said Campadre. “A particularly cool and crazy girl for that matter. The riff came from nowhere one day in our studio and it was one of the quickest songs we wrote for the EP – everything came together really quickly and we loved the raw, fuzzy nature of it. It’s a fun one to play live, that’s for sure.”

Compadre’s story began in early 2019 with a fate encounter in Nuremberg, Germany: Roy Williamson, a guitarist and vocalist from Glasgow, Scotland, sold a guitar stand to Steven Franklin, an American bassist out of Austin, Texas, and they decided to jam together. They later met Sassan von Papp, a local German/Iranian drummer, got in the studio, started playing and didn’t stop.

‘Green Screen Sex Scene’ is the lead single from their debut EP ‘Pipe Dreams’.
