Pulsing and squeezing. The delight of asphyxiation dangles at the plight and story of ‘Eyes’. Immersive artist Cori Elliott, dangles artistic bombs, in subtle and silky amenities of truths and fantasies. ‘Eyes’ is offered in the upcoming debut solo album, ‘Between Two Places’ (August 21).
Originally from Austin, Texas, Elliott relocated to Los Angeles while still in high school where she first started to act on her eclectic musical influences by learning to play guitar, write songs and develop her range of vocal capabilities.
“Initially I wrote [‘Eyes’] on guitar, along with the rest of the songs on the EP,” said Cori. “It had a pretty grunge feel and inspiration to it and when I sat with my producer to lay out the foundation, we both mutually felt drawn to the idea of this pulsing beat building tension throughout to achieve the darker emotions and hypnotic undertones the song naturally emits.”
Majestic flights are some of the angles Cori deduced within her singles.
‘Eyes’ continues that decadence, in visceral agitations and emotional empowerment.
