Deaf Poets shares ‘King (Don’t Matter)’ (Official Video)

Off of their May 2017 album, ‘Lost in Magic City’, Deaf Poets shares with us mortals (which is ALL of us, by the by) their new music video for ‘King (Don’t Matter)’: Un-impeding revelry for rock and hard-er rock, mixed with spices of Brooklyn hinterland-ic vices – the raw tackling of a band and its artillery is distinctly displayed.

Whoa.

The duo (Sean Wouters and Nico Espinosa) makes their rock pedigree (probably more attuned to ‘school of hard knocks’) comes through in their songs and their story telling.

And it continues – on and on.

We love music videos like this: lots of guitar shots, drummer hair flying, baked with the love of rock n’ roll. The video is directed by Domingo Rafael Narvaez (a.k.a Papito), animated by Danny Portal, and M/M by Jim Diamond. The focus of the video tries to “captures the duo’s electric live performance, with added hand-drawn animation by their friend Danny Portal”.

Cool sh*t, we say.

So, enjoy it – you mortals! =D

They’re rep’ed by Wax Romanitx Records.
