Melbourne’s DEAF WISH is fun. Simple as that. The lead single from their upcoming album ‘Lithium Zion’ makes one bang the head. It’s just like having a tattoo done: it’s not a knife, but a slowly but surely grinding of the flat end. The skin is stretched, the skin is punctured, stress fractures into a ultimately glorious inclination of spectacle.
The band directed video of ‘FFS’ is a stroll on the outside of life, looking inside of that punk lifestyle, which you can curse and love and caress, and admire. The awkwardness of the video is exactly what you’d want and deserve nothing else but that. And on the same side of the coin, ‘FFS’ is about rock and getting your roll with a side of bad-ass southern grits.
‘Lithium Zion’ will be available worldwide on starting July 27th. It is their 5th full-length album.
