Dear Boy Shares ‘Heaven Moves’. “Charming dish of inner beauty.”

DEAR BOY’s Ben Grey Stated: “The original idea was A Hard Day’s Night, but the Beatles are monsters and it’s directed by Éric Rohmer. We feel like we’re creating our own world within modern guitar music, so this video was a fun little way to let you know there are four ghouls living amongst you. Heaven Moves is a song about undying love and the unique spirituality that exists within that. We had just finished writing a full length record before this song came along… It didn’t completely fit with the others, so we leaned into modernity and just decided to record and release it.”

The quartet of Ben Grey, Keith Cooper, Austin Hayman, and Lucy Lawrence make it very easy to love their body of work and sensibilities towards their music. An inevitable collision of multiple decades, styles, and ultimate love, the band constructs a brand of 80’s tinged effervescence within their latest single ‘Heaven Moves’.

Colored in front of a background of coming-of-age aesthetics, the beautifully charming song dictates with a light touch through shimmering guitars and lovely vocals.

The heavens do crack open a bit when this single sings along to pick you up when you’re a bit down.

A notion of ‘There can be right in this world’ comes dowsing around your being.

See them next on August 7th in Los Angeles @ The Greek Theatre.
