Derek Driver ‘That Feeling’ : Bubbling with both ambition and dexterity in healing gestures.

Derek Driver

Holed up in his Edmonton home laundry room/studio, armed with only an acoustic guitar, past experience, and heart (mostly), Derek immersed himself in his newly re-discovered drive to write music. That was with his first completed song ‘Normal’ and since then, Derek professes feelings of his restlessness with life, the confusing emotions that come along with that, and how they can affect the people closest to you.

Said Derek: “After touring and recording as a pro artist for years, this song is part of my first collection of creations in almost a decade. The song is a spin on the years of my life since leaving writing and performing behind. “The feeling that I’m chasing just keeps stealing, that feeling”. I’m OK with the fact that I may never find it, but I’m sure I’ll keep chasing it, just like the rest of us. I hope you enjoy.”

It’s what’s hoped for. It’s what’s steps that were missed. It’s what’s to ultimately come.

Derek’s depth of personal gratitudes and anxieties, come forth, bubbling with both ambition and dexterity in healing gestures.

Emby Alexander ‘Up in the Air’ : We sure can dance our way there. One way is with Emby, indeed.

Sons Of Zöku ‘Paralysed’ : Majestic jump of hyper giddiness and tantric rhythms.
