Divan & the House of Quoi ‘Jason Who’ : Pulls you along with grand smiles and understated strength.

Divan & the House of Quoi

From his newest LP ‘The Gay Tapes’, Divan & the House of Quoi sings like the summer days of yore. A gentle wisp of granular love, sentiments and vibrance, ‘Jason Who’ is a beautifully laid out single of country and folk, up-ticked into a modern flair.

‘Jason Who’ was written in response to the high suicide rate among LGBTQI+ youth. And in the spirit of Pride Month, the band brings the tragedy of emotions that roil with the cultural inadequacy in humans treating humans, wrongly and maliciously.

Divan and the gang, dedicates the full album to “queer life”, in the honor of trying to get to a better place, step by step.

With chords that reminisce of the best of James Taylor, ‘Jason Who’ pulls you along with grand smiles and understated strength. Living isn’t easy. Support for each others, is the way to get through it all.
