E. Alvin ‘Appetite’ : Mournful atmosphere that builds to a furious finish.

E. Alvin

E. Alvin, tells the story of a FWB relationship, where the “benefits” cause more pain than pleasure on new single, ‘Appetite’. E’s love for classic horror compositions is palpable in the production’s mournful atmosphere that builds to a furious finish.

Said E: “The original concept was an abstract fever dream of me feeding an entity that symbolized the ‘appetite’. A whole prosthetic was created for one of the actors, but unfortunately, plans were scrapped due to the pandemic. I reached out to artist Diego Romero (Diablo), who specializes in the same vintage-horror aesthetics I’m inspired by, and he animated scanned images of my hands and mouth to emulate the cover art, and stay true to the heartbeat of the song with this lyric visualizer.”

Began pursuing music after graduating high school, and debuted his first EP, ‘Midas’, in 2016. He cites BANKS as a major motivator in his musical journey, after they shared an encouraging conversation over text one night.
