Elk Run + Riot ‘Morning Light’ : Let’s make this part of it all.

Takes it up another notch.

Elk Run + Riot

Banff, Alberta originating alt-/folk & country vibin’ rock band, Elk Run + Riot takes it up another notch, as you can’t but fall in love with this fabulous title single ‘Morning Light’. The song was written by Ryan Schepens (vocals/guitar), Andrew Cotter (vocals/bass/guitar) and Brian Bailey (mandolin/bass) in one night in a cabin in Golden, BC.

‘Golden’ indeed.

Since forming in 2013, Elk Run & Riot have made it their priority to write songs that reflect who they are and where they live. For the folk-rock outfit, that environment is Alberta’s Bow Valley in the Rocky Mountains. Elk Run & Riot have stuck to a similar philosophy as a band, working tirelessly to evolve as songwriters, while performing as much as possible, from house shows to the Canmore Folk Festival and the Banff Centre’s Shaw Ampitheatre.

Their upcoming album, ‘Morning Light’ (4th full-length album / January 31st, 2020) touches on things like addiction, love/friends lost, growing up, the many times they’ve been crammed in the back of a Dodge Caravan for weeks and months at a time just trying to make a name for themselves, and much more.

There’s nothing but fun and light-hearted vibes with the single ‘Morning Light’. It’s that warm embrace and hug for whatever’s to come in our lives. The gang in Elk Run + Riot would love you to feel good, and get even better, in this life’s journey.

Let’s make ‘Morning Light’ part of it all.
