Powerful vocals with a hard hitting chorus, anthemic pop rock, with a rivet of Estella Dawn’s un-daunting attitude.
“It’s about being an “I’m sorry” sort of person,” said Estella. “You step on them and they apologize profusely, kind of a person. Push in front of them in line and they won’t say a word kind of person. You can leave hate, tell them they suck and they will say “you’re so right!!!” They will bend until their back breaks trying to please people.”
But you know what, they’re done. Done apologizing for taking up space. So go on, push me one more time.
Estella is a New Zealand born and Colorado based, the edgy consumption and delicate empathy of her vocals, shine like the sun. At 23 her songs are a mixture of pop, neo-soul and rock, delivered with an open hearted honesty and denominationally truculent balls of energy.
A distinct and prized glimpse of talent and that extra-something, declares triumphant within the soul. Estella is an artist to watch. Unpredictability, is a calling card of this talent.
What we can be sure of is her beauty in song and gorgeous presentation.
Estella is releasing a new single every 6 weeks. From the Neo-Soul vibes of “Cadmium Yellow” (released in January), the “burn the town down” dynamics of “Hallow” to the attitude heavy anthemic rock of “I Dare You”, due out on June 4th.
Look for her LP at the end of 2020.
