Eugene Delta ‘Bad Jazz’ : Mania of irrespective perspectives, converge to make this decadent and outrageous cultivation.

Eugene Delta

Vienna’s own, Eugene Delta, offers ‘Bad Jazz’ from the upcoming debut album ‘Calm Down, It’s Over’ (Autumn of 2020). The pre-release single Bad Jazz is pervaded by a mobilizing urge.

The driving beat triggers the desire to break free and rush forward. Tremolo violins direct the spotlight on exactly those pressure points that hurt and encourage the listener to finally dare to take a liberating blow. Delta’s vocals lead through the story, sometimes soberly telling, sometimes pleading, sometimes howling.

Brass fanfares and shredding electric guitars come to a head more and more until the choir, with its redeeming contradiction “Calm down, it’s over – it doesn’t feel over”, evokes the song’s finale over and over again.

Mania of irrespective perspectives, converge to make this decadent and outrageous cultivation named ‘Bad Jazz’.
