Fancy Face ‘Things Are Getting Better’ : A delightful and subjectively optimistic new indie-rock track.

Fancy Face

Melbourne quintet Fancy Face offer their third single ‘Things Are Getting Better’. A delightful and subjectively optimistic new indie-rock track, the retro-tinged single follows previous singles releases ‘Slip Up’ and ‘Just You Wait’ as the third taste of Fancy Face’s debut EP (later this year).

Lead vocalist and guitarist Aaron Bach said: “‘Things Are Getting Better’…. Or maybe they aren’t!? It really depends on how you take this song in. For me it’s definitely a placement in time where I was hopeful that things were going to be better, better times, better experiences and most importantly a better understanding of things that weren’t making sense at the time”

Aaron Bach and Alex Zielke are joined by Shaun J on keys, Julia on guitar, and Alex on bass, to continue to create something special. As they began working on their new material, the band found their sonic home right under their debut single ‘Slip up’.

Opting to create music that provides a true experience, Fancy Face have a simple mission – making music that gets people up and moving while providing the perfect escape.
