Fats Domino: Passes away at 89. Influenced many. Entertained even more.

Fats Domino is an icon of 1950’s Rock ‘n’ Roll wave, which influenced people and musicians, the world over. His infectious smile and entertainment attributes, soaked up his audience and fans’ enthusiasms and returned the favor. At aged 89, he passed away in Harvey Louisiana, a suburb of New Orleans.

His biggest and most well known hit was “Blueberry Hill”, a song that was many times previous covered by several other artists. The song was written by Vincent Rose, Al Lewis and Larry Stock for the 1940 Western ‘The Singing Hill’.

Throughout his career his Cajun accent and his signature piano work, made him a fan favorite.

Like all artists, their published bodies of work will withstand the test of time, and will continue to be loved world over.
