Unconstrained avarice for the search. A search across the steppes of unrelenting torment, in emotive dispositions and confusions.
But there is one that never fades. The glimmer of light, that graces all of the fiber of being – your strands of understanding.
Awareness and ultimate personal truths. You rise and remember.
“‘Last Light’ is a dark lullaby about staying present, even when your world seems to be crumbling around you. A reflection on accepting loss and change.”
Written and performed by engaging artist, Fiona Brice, ‘Last Light’ preserves the confidence of humanity, within and possibilities of the without.
The single was produced by Fiona Brice & Julian Simmons, with strings recorded at Rak Studios (engineer Richard Woodcraft) and piano recorded at Sonica Studios (engineer Paul Clark).
Fiona has worked with the likes of BBC Philharmonic, Royal Northern Sinfonia and Heritage Orchestra to orchestrate large-scale concert performances for artists including John Grant, Sam Fender, Anna Calvi, Ezra Furman, Placebo, Sharon van Etten, Jarvis Cocker and Florence + the Machine.
