Gamburtsevs ‘Frozen Moments’ : Never a part of the narrative. We are one, as we set ourselves through this world.

Gamburtsevs

Gamburtsevs is a concept album/short film telling the story “of a man, working alone in a seed storage vault under a mountain on Svalbard, a Norwegian archipelago.”

“The album was recorded by Allen and Horner, in an old telephone repeater station on Shap Fell in Cumbria in order to capture the sense of isolation and the majesty of nature that the album invokes as it explores humanity’s relationship with the planet, religion and mental health.”

It is the creation of multi-instrumentalist and multi-bandist (Dressed Like Wolves, Pellethead, Hold Music, Nel Unlit) Daniel Allen of Teesside, now an adopted Londoner, with help of fellow Teessider, Jon Horner.

Choice for loss. Never a part of the narrative. We are one, as we set ourselves through this world.
