Gaz Coombes – Deep Pockets (New Official Video) + SXSW

‘Deep Pockets’ is he first single from Gaz Coombes. His full length album ‘World’s Strongest Man’ is set for the drop on May 4th, 2018. And it should be glorious.

Set in some desolate city (as they do), Gaz is on a mission. The song is his tool. The magic carpet ride to that star in the terrestrial tribulations, called life. It’s hard. It’s tight. It’s head-boppin’ and rockin’.

That’s the song: It’s exciting, gritty, groovin, and kick-ass.

Just watch the video, and/or just close your eyes and listen.

Do it.

Your time will be justified.

Gaz indicates: “that the new record is inspired variously by Grayson Perry’s book “The Descent of Man”, Frank Ocean’s Blonde, Californian weed, British woodlands, unchecked toxic masculinity, hip-hop, and a whole lot more for a bold, ambitious, free-thinking, future-facing rock‘n’roll record.”

Wha!?!

Deep baby.

If this first single is any indication, we’re all going to be in for a joyful, and fabulous ride on this album.

Ok, until then, lucky few can see him perform on tour. Plus, he’s announced that he’ll be at SXSW, doing his thang.
