Haiva Ru ‘Swim’ : When you’re in the ocean of such emotions, will you float? Or sink?

Haiva Ru

Haiva Ru is an up-and-coming indie pop artist from Santa Barbara. ‘Swim’ is an infectious, beat-driven melody twinkling ambient with ethereal vocals and pops-of-color production. It’s a summer single both slick and emotional.

Her first single ‘Work It On Out’ independently earned half a million streams and the fervent attention of eclectic, acclaimed collaborators including EDM heroes Napoleon Gold, with whom she recorded the sensational summer hit “Love Don’t Cut Me Down,” and BAYNK, who co-wrote and produced ‘Swim’ as well as taste-making indie producer Adrian Olsen (Lucy Dacus, Futurebirds, Fruit Bats, Natalie Prass, Foxygen) who’s recording her new material.

A subject of contention, love and its ilk, drowns out the signals and never gives a warning. Love has no rival. Love will never be gentle. A bulldozer of crushing effects, there will be scars, strewn in every corner.

So, when you’re in the ocean of such emotions, will you float? Or sink?
