Harpers ‘By and By’ : Gleans from the folds of the curtains, revealing Harpers’ gentile aromas of betterment and emotive desires.

“This is the first single off our forthcoming album,” said Jacob Beck of Harpers. “With dreamy “Beach Boys-esque” harmonies and blistering guitars, this song is full of energy and good vibes.”

Indeed. And with a flavorful decadence and good-natured charms dripping off of the marrows of what life could be, ‘By and By’ is a chain reaction of prosperity of the heart, mind, and village of good vibes for all.

“Tracked to tape with spaghetti western guitars… I think you will really like the tones and energy. We wanted it to feel like a grand introduction to the album; like a friend pulling up and saying “Hey, get in the car, we’re going somewhere and you should come too!”

Jacob (vocals, guitar) and Chris Riding (vocals, keyboard, bass) met at summer camp in 2011. After a week of bonding over their love for Benjamin Gibbard and Bob Dylan, Jacob returned home to New York and Chris went back to Dallas. Over the next six years they exchanged songs via hotmail and pushed each other to write authentic, thought-provoking music.

Rivets like rain drops, assault the denseness of the downtrodden air. A flicker of hope and sunshine, gleans from the folds of the curtains, revealing Harpers’ gentile aromas of betterment and emotive desires.

Smile, indeed.
