Haulm ‘Call The Waves’ : Prevalence in heart and mind, dangles wonder in imagination to the heaviness of cultural anomalies.

Haulm

Beautiful and hydrating to the core, ‘Call The Waves’ is a malleable sustenance of justice and peace, delegated by the whims of humanity and its allies. Haulm’s purgation of prevalence in heart and mind, dangles wonder in imagination to the heaviness of cultural anomalies.

Said Haulm: “Was written the night of March 12, after the news that President Trump met with a potentially Covid Positive President Bolsonaro [of Brazil]. The idea that these two world leaders, who both downplayed the virus to the detriment of their people could potentially become victims of it smacked of a kind of poetic justice.”

“But what the song is really trying to channel is the sadness of the impending loss of life and the utter powerlessness we feel as citizens of a collapsing democracy.”

Haulm is a collaboration between vocalist/composer, JT Norton, and electronic producer, Reed Kackley (BAILE). From 2012, the duo has been on a churn of ambitions to discover more of their capabilities and of how that can translate into communicating the world to their listeners.

Clarity of mindfulness and exulting majesty is where they originate.

‘Call The Waves’ reminds us of that aim.
