hōmlē ‘The Stranger’ : A phenomenon that irks our desires to be normal, but a feeling that cannot be vanquished.

The stranger in a strange land, bound by nothing, but bound by everything. A contrast of desires, that can never be met. Yet, in the depths of personal desire, an awkward pronouncement of being and existence, washes over the bodies of self and reliance.

‘The Stranger’ is about being more ‘at home’ with strangers, than with friends. It’s a description of phenomena that perplexes our individual secrets. A phenomenon that irks our desires to be normal, but a feeling that cannot be vanquished.

Acceptance is a pure reply. For life must. And it must, go forth.

Will you be stuck in this world? As is?

Up to you.

hōmlē is collaboration between Hemma and Yummm, from Eau Claire to LA. “Influenced by spicy food, creek swimming, and the sound of dance music coming from another room.”
