Amid Puerto Rico crisis: Trump administration is restricting lawmakers from visiting the US Territory.

There is a bit of back and forth going on between congressional lawmaker and the White House and the Pentagon, on when they can visit the devastated US territory of Puerto Rico. There has been applications by 10 lawmakers, trip organized by the office of Sen. Robert Menendez (D-N.J.), to go to Puerto Rico, but no clear answer.

There has been pro-active action from 700 FEMA officials and around 10,000 federal workers in conducting search and rescue missions, supplying life support items, in the past week.

President Trump within those several days, had conducted speeches and was in the middle of a self perpetuated battle with Black sports stars in the United States – which seemed to have been a distraction, while the clean up was underway in Puerto Rico.

On Monday, President Trump is scheduled to visit Puerto Rico.
