Jacob Jeffries ‘Punchline’ : Delight in understanding how you feel, in the most charming and understated way.

Jacob Jeffries

Jacob Jeffries’ songwriting is poignant and knows how you feel. Or in ‘Punchline’, he can delight in understanding how you feel, in the most charming and understated way.

“I wrote this song about feeling like control was lost, like I didn’t know what I was working toward anymore with my goals…my music.; and no matter how hard I struggle with a sense of place, pride, & purpose during unprecedented times filled with unanswerable questions…it just might be going about it all wrong. Feels like all eyes are peering and this really isn’t what I am supposed to/want to be doing…”

The Simon & Garfunkle-esque vibe bleeds throughout ‘Punchline’. But it’s wholly Jacob Jeffries tact for feelings and empathy; tenderness and soft whimsy.

Successful through out his acting career (songwriter known in the film world as the singing voice behind Teen Titans’ animated lead Robin; and in the TV world as 1/3 of The Cooties (comedy music group featured on Conan & JASH), Jacob keeps pushing the edges with levity of poetry and gravity of his songs.

Culminates in loveliness anyone can appreciate.
