Jaws The Shark ‘Andy Gray’ : A demise to perhaps a different era.

Jaws The Shark

‘Andy Gray’ was written about a former British football commentator, who was fired from his job for making sexist comments towards a match official. The song describes the demise of his career and his eventual fall from grace.

Having spent a number of years touring the world as a Tour Manager and Artist Manager, Bailey decided that it was now time to sink his teeth into a project of his own. Bailey released Debut single ‘Mission Impossible’ in July 2020, which showcased Jaws The Shark in all of his frenzied glory, with just over 2 minutes of frantic hooks and melodies.

Following hot on the heels of the debut release is the powerful second single ‘Andy Gray’, which see’s Bailey stick with the Indie/Garage Rock formula, telling the story of the demise of a once popular, but since disgraced former sports pundit.

Jaws The Shark is the Lo-fi solo project and brainchild of Olly Bailey.
