Jen Starsinic ‘Cold’ : Beauties, in the beyond.

Jen Starsinic

‘Cold’ is a single from Jen Starsinic’s EP ‘Bad Actor’. Sulking and depressed, we think about our plight, until we cannot any longer. The morning however, comes again, and another chance to change it all around. Accept, absorb, and move forward – that’s all that we can do in the best way we can.

Jen said: “I think this is a really interesting experience because it always seems so lonely when you experience it, but it’s really so universal. Being scared and not knowing what to do while someone is depending on you is such a harrowing and darkly existentially empowering thing. This song can be really fun to jam out to when we play it live, but when we were tracking it, we wanted to make sure it never really reached a super cathartic peak.”

Jen’s songs are beauties, in the beyond.

Listen. To her. Passion.

That’s never something I’ve taken lightly. As a creator, especially as an independent artist, you’re constantly asking people to listen to what you’re doing, even if it’s just by nature of getting on stage. I think that is a responsibility we all have, as people.” —— Nashville-based singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist @jenstarsinic wears a musical coat of many colors.
