‘Earth Dog Year’ is the second and title single from Jenna & the Janes’ debut album. The song touches on loss and grief, but more importantly, the process of coming back stronger. A message of self audit and understanding, an encouragement of anthemic vibes, shimmer through the vocals of Jenna, warming your heart and mind.

The world seems to have a chance to be better, when Jenna’s honesty and lyrical charms grace your pallet. An audible grace that exudes feelings of melancholy, in the most empathetic, ‘Earth Dog Year’ gives you so much to work with and around. The band is Brooklyn based and in her autobiographical folk songs are set to sweet and memorable melodies.

The band included the aforementioned include Jenna Smith (lead vocals, guitar), along with Kenny Florence (lead guitar, vocals), Michael Sanders (bass, vocals) and John Stallings (drums). Their North Carolina and Louisiana upbringings afford a cast of beautiful colors and charms, which is beautifully expressed in this project.
