The psychedelic guitar pop art is just irresistible. The first bar on the song/video is to die for. That was what we thought, right off the bat. Then the subsequent adjectives.
- Artful sexy.
- Profoundly constructed audible innuendos (sexy).
- Abstract look into what powerful indie pop music can be and driven home (very sexy).
By the time we said let’s write something about the song, we had listen to it like 6 times. The video just accentuates the rhythms and the swaying the song brings.
‘MDM’ should be synonymous with ‘WMD (weapon of mass destruction)’ for the song is a bomb that blows off a haectre worth of property off of our brain nerves.
The new album ‘Their Prime’ will drop on May 25th, with a full length effort on all physical and digital formats.
The album, features the other two singles ‘Glass’ and ‘Millennial Trash Blues,’ was recorded during the fall / winter of 2016/17 in the band’s hometown of Vancouver, British Columbia.
“Something something, on my phone too much, something something, marshall mcluhan, something something, stanley kubrick, something something, the medium is the message, something something, ouch my insides.” – stated bandleader Jo Hirabayashi regarding the video.
Jo Passed consists of: Jo, Bella, Mac, and Megan.
Nuff said. Now go obsess!
