Jordan Paul ‘Emerald Glass’ : Offers revelry and intrinsically emotive collateral.

'Emerald Glass'

Canadian singer-songwriter Jordan Paul offers revelry and intrinsically emotive collateral in ‘Emerald Glass’.

Jordan’s style is immediately distinctive, boasting notes of delicate, spacious alt-folk delivered with a shimmering, ghostly falsetto that heals and haunts simultaneously. Multiple Grammy Award-winning producer Chris Birkett (Sinead O’Connor, Talking Heads) calls Jordan Paul “Canada’s Jeff Buckley.” Music blogger Jeremy Gladstone muses, “if Queen, Mimicking Birds, Radiohead, and Led Zeppelin had a beautiful love child, thy name would be Jordan Paul.”

Jordan Paul’s first EP ‘Night Moon’ debuted in 2019 on Spotify’s “Fresh Finds” editorial playlist, earning him an invite to write and record with 18-time Grammy-winning producer James Sanger (U2, Dido, Keane) at the famed Vibey Studios in Normandy, France. His first single of 2020, ‘Strange’ was included in The Soundtrack’s list of “Canada’s Best New Indie Releases.”

‘Emerald Glass’ is the second of a series of singles set for release in 2020 from Jordan Paul. All were recorded at Jonathan Anderson’s (Andy Shauf, Aidan Knight, Said the Whale) Protection Island Studios in Maple Ridge, BC, and mastered by Noah Mintz (Marcy Playground, Broken Social Scene, Matt Mays).
