LA musician Joy Downer will drop her debut LP ‘Paper Moon’ on June 5th. And with that, it makes it official that her effervescent quirk in indie-pop allure, will be available for the universe to hear and love.
Her music has been featured as the theme song for the Netflix series Spinning Out and she was recruited by renowned production duo Superhuman for a cover of ‘Somewhere Over the Rainbow’ in a Honda TV Ad. With a 2017 EP and a few singles out in the world, Joy has already found fans at Refinery29, BBC Radio, Earmilk, PopSugar, Magnetic Mag, Apple Music, Spotify and more.
Independent, but oh so very in the mainstream, the fab vocals with the supple arrangement of her lyrics, impinge upon none of your listening demands. And with that, like the whispering winds, Joy’s gifts of song, dances across your life’s stream, adding color and emotional joy.
