Juni Habel ‘Demons’ : The economy of expressions come in beautifully in turmoil of life, and personal embraces.

Juni Habel

From LP ‘All Ears’, ‘Demons’ is part of her music that is gentle, weeping, exultant, happy, sad, and emotively profound.

Juni’s folk tunes takes inspiration from other artists who have great success creating less-is-more art, like Joni Mitchell, Jessica Pratt and Joanna Newsom. The warm, somber vocals weave well together with the atmospheric, spellbinding guitar play, wishes you well in a wave of embrace.

“’All Ears’ is a collection of the first songs I wrote,” said Juni. “It was a great and joyful discovery that I could make music. So the songs are about that – and also about avoidance, fear, redemption and love… I get inspired by other folk artists such as Vashti Bunyan and Jessica Pratt, but also try to explore the form and the framework guitar and vocals provide.”

Juni Habel is a Norwegian singer and songwriter, for whom, the economy of expressions come in beautifully in turmoil of life, and personal embraces.

Lovely, indeed.
