Juniper Douglas Shares ‘fibastimpastastan’. “Our Actions. Our Non-Actions. Our Bondage.”

Untidy room, because of you. The dwelling where we co-habited, now is gray, with walls of guilt and negligence. In mind of minds, we sat in silence with cigarettes in lips, which kept excuses to say nothing. The puffs of our life’s memories disappeared, as the clouds of non-oxygen suffocated the pleasantries within those white, antibiotic walls.

Slowly the smoke dissipated into the atmosphere of the globe – out the window, opened by the trecherous mis-givings of our heart.

Our actions.

Our non-actions.

Our bondage.

“Get out. Get out of this life.”

The oils start to melt, on this canvass of colors. The painting does not matter any longer.

We don’t matter any longer, together.

JUNIPER DOUGLAS’ ‘fibastimpastastan’ is what it is. A jammy prog-rock-pop single that irritates our inner secrets, and pokes at our habits in thoughts of human interactions. The calmness of the song is contrast to the angst projected through the lyrics and build-up of that ‘which we know not’. That’s a dangerous thing.

‘fibastimpastastan’ is the sequence before that dam breaks.

Maybe, within you.

Their new album “Error to Introspection” will drop Sept 21 via Subaquatic Records.

Should be a doozy of an album.

The Twin Cities (MN) originating band is ready to do some (musical) damage.
