The video, which the band shot themselves with friends in Houston, seamlessly translates the spirit of ‘Another Summer Song’ as skateboarding accidents, hand-drawn dreams of starting a band and unrequited teen love fill a listless summer day. Splicing the action together, the clip features an energetic performance as the sun sets behind JunkBunny in cinematic fashion.
On making the video, JunkBunny said: “We had one camera, a couple friends and a whole lot of time on our hands to make a music video for our new track ‘Another Summer Song.’ We wanted to portray what Summer feels and looks like to us.”
‘Another Summer Song’ is the follow up to JunkBunny’s debut EP Junk Rock and breakout single “Sedona” released last fall after opening for ZZ Top, The Struts and even Jon Bon Jovi. The EP was produced by Grammy Award-winning producer Howard Benson (My Chemical Romance, P.O.D.).
Classically riotous and harmonious, the ripe envelopment for hard-rock love, comes with fabulous fun and Foo Fighters-esque crush.
