Juno Award-Winning DEAR ROUGE Drops Sophomore Album ‘Phases’. SXSW March 15.

Juno award-winning Canadian duo Dear Rouge return with the release of their sophomore album, PHASES.

That’s not the biggest news, to us here at CHF. It’s that Danielle McTaggart and Drew McTaggart’s combination of punk-esque pop sensibilities and sweet pop urges, make this song and the video one to view, and fawn over.

You know. Just like when you saw that gorgeous boy next to you at class and his pimped-out hair and dimple cheeks.

Nothing ever mattered those few moments in class. The teacher, the classmates, the homework – didn’t matter. Just that the beautiful boy next to you existed and in vicinity.

Humans, eh?

Yea. We’re all like that sometimes, right?

“The emotions relating to the many ‘PHASES’ of life; beauty, excitement, love, sadness, pain, insecurity, confidence were deeply felt through the journey of making this record! We think it can resonate with many people and can’t wait to see how fans react to it.” – Dear Rouge opined.

The band shifts gears with ‘Phases’ and it’s a diggable song, with Danielle being gorgeous as usual (sorry Danielle, bit superficial, but you are in this video).

Dang those outfits! Beautiful stuff.

Anywho, the duo continues their hot streak following up their 2015 ‘Black To Gold’. They start touring North American mid March.

They’re rep’ed by Universal Music Canada.
